Question of the day: How is the One Day Run going to benefit Ronald McDonald House Charities?
Answer: We’re going to donate $1 for each of the first 1,000 participants who log their miles on Leap Day! You can use Twitter or Facebook!
And of course, we are encouraging every participant to donate $1/mile ran.
So go for a run…take a walk…log your miles…make Leap Day count!
Guess what we’re doing? We’re making a difference today! We will donate $1, to Ronald McDonald House Charities, for every person that joins One Day Run today on Facebook (up to $500).
Help us out…help RMHC out!
Thanks to everybody who has teamed up with us, so far, to run the world on February 29th! 25,000 miles is a long way and we need all the participants we can get.
Share – run – have fun!
The event is set! On February 29, 2012, we invite everyone to join us for a virtual run around the world. This idea is simple — Work together to run 25,000 miles.
Sign up through Facebook or Twitter. On Leap Day, run as far as you like. Go back to Facebook or Twitter and share how far you ran. We’ll add up all the miles as the day progresses and provide updates.
We are also encouraging everyone to make a “matching miles” donation to the Ronald McDonald House Charities. Run 3 miles, donate $3. Just as every miles counts in the run, every dollar helps families stay together during their most challenging times.
Sign up now and spread the word!
